EYEDENTITY GRAPHICS

Objective: Design a new logo for Eyedentity Graphics, a newly acquired vinyl print & wrap studio seeking an updated logo. Requested a logo icon that could be used across various media platforms with recognition despite near limitless interchangeable color.

Process: Company leader and I discussed incorporating visual elements that connected the design to the vinyl wrap industry as well as including a prominent eye shape in reference to the company name. After some thought I went in the direction of using the center of a heat gun's spiraled barrel as my main point of inspiration, both for being a vital tool in the wrapping process as well as its striking similarity to an iris.

Objective: The industry standard for wrap studios is to display the quality of their vinyl materials and printers by fully wrapping walls and windows on the exterior and interior space. Create large format designs for the exterior storefront, interior main office and print studio.

Process: After meeting with the company team to discuss the direction of the brand identity and general look and feel of the studio space. It was decided in pushing the aesthetic of the studio into the realm of street art and science fiction. I would accomplish this by combining graffiti and street art found across various metropolises around the world with elements of future space travel paired with some cyberpunk grit and neon glows.

Objective: Create t-shirt designs that the shop could potentially offer for sale to walk-in clientele. The goal was to provide some fun and playful designs that not only included the logo icon as the focal point but also reflected elements of science fiction to compliment the aesthetic of the office space.

Process:
I continued with the brand identity by using vibrant colors coupled with nostalgic visuals. A callback to the Matrix's "red vs blue pill" and an astronaut distracted by their Gameboy. I aimed to integrate the brand mark within the design without losing the integrity of either; utilizing it more as a mascot in more lighthearted ways.
